Food Handlers Card

Prior to your first event you will be required to have a Food Handler’s Card which is issued by Maricopa County Environmental Services. Visit their website at:

http://www.maricopa.gov/EnvSvc/EnvHealth/SpecProg/FoodWorker/TestSchedule.aspx

to obtain information about testing sites (there are four throughout greater Phoenix), download the study guide, ‘Sanitation Techniques for the Food Service Worker’. The cost involved is $12.00 (unless you identify yourself as working on a ‘volunteer’ basis, in which case the fee is waived). A copy should be faxed to (623) 561-9845.

Alcohol Awareness Training

All volunteers at an ARAMARK or Centerplate event, which includes NHL Coyote Hockey, NFL Football, concerts at Glendale Arena or Cardinal Stadium, are required to successfully complete an Alcohol Awareness (TIPS) training class. This class is conducted throughout the year by the ARAMARK Food and Beverage Corporation and or Centerplate. After registering as a volunteer with Clash Booster Club, refer to the schedule for the next available TIPs training class.
